Expect The Unexpected

The way my Mom explains it to me, morning sickness can be a real bummer in pregnancy and can make the whole experience unpleasant. Sometimes, it can even be an all-day sickness. So I’ve been really lucky to dodge this up until now, but today, it’s hit me and it’s hit me hard. Because of this, both Liam and I are taking a well-deserved day off together.

I’m grateful for his company because even though I feel vulnerable letting him see me like this, I know it’s all in my head and I need the help he’s offering, more. For a while, I could barely get out of bed to run to the bathroom, so he put a bucket next to the bed for me instead. It’s gross, but I didn’t have the energy to moan about it. After the worst of it had subsided, I insist on a shower to feel a bit more Fae again, so Liam helped me to the bathroom and into the shower, on condition that he could stay and keep an eye on me to make sure I don’t fall.
